‘Working together to create a safe and happy community of learners’.
Bakers Hill Primary aims to develop the cognitive, social and personal skills of the students so that they can maximise future education, employment and social opportunities, and participate as responsible members of the community who have a lifelong enjoyment of learning.
The purpose of the school is to provide a stimulating and supportive learning environment in which children have the opportunity to be actively engaged in learning experiences that connect with their existing knowledge, skills and values. These learning experiences should be motivating and purposeful and the children encouraged to reflect on what they have learnt. Opportunities should be provided for the students to learn independently and collaboratively with others. At all times the learning environment must respect and accommodate differences between the learners. The school endeavours to maintain a culture of inclusivity to enhance the learning outcomes for all students.
