1989 In October, because of a severe overcrowding problem, an additional transportable classroom was located at the eastern end of the original school building. Air conditioning was installed in Room 3.

Pre-Primary reverted to a Rural Integration Program. The P & C, with the help of a Government grant, had a tennis wall erected on the northern edge of the oval. A brick barbecue was constructed to help with fund-raising and interschool activities.

The eastern end of the verandah was enclosed to become a reception area.

At the beginning of the 1995 school year Bakers Hill started a fulltime Five Year Old Rural Integration Program whereby all children attend four full days each week.
